Luna Treehouse is the newest addition to the Into the Woods Cumbria family. Incorporating what we learnt from building Silva Treehouse and extensive guest feedback, we’ve created a larger space for you and your people to spend quality time together surrounded by nature.

Constructed with a steel frame and wood from our farm, Luna boasts an incredible vista of the Northern Lakeland fells, high quality interior design and our signature penchant for fun and games.

Luna Treehouse sleeps 6 people and is a perfect getaway for the young and young-at-heart.

  • Enjoy the stunning view of the Lakeland Fells by day or the stars at night through the huge living room window and wrap-around glass balconies. 

    Look out for your new neighbours! We hope you catch a glimpse of the deer, owls, hares, kestrels and badgers that call this forest home while you’re here.

  • Take the 4-metre high slide down to the outdoor kitchen, lounge on the sumptuous sofas, warm your cockles by the firepit or fire up the pizza oven. Let the kids (old and young!) go wild in the games room and crank up the volume on the 1980’s dukebox.

    You won’t even notice there’s no wi-fi.

  • Slow down and unwind, you’re on forest time.

    Start your stay off right with our “Pop and Plunge” package. We warm up the wood-fired hot tub in advance of your arrival and put the champagne on ice.

    Delight in our heated outdoor shower and bathe in the forest around you.

    Get your sweat on at Embrr Sauna. We’ve collaborated to bring a unique sauna, ice bath and relaxation experience to Into the Woods Cumbria. Subject to availability. Book via the Embrr website or contact their team directly.

  • Luna Treehouse is spacious and accommodating with 3 x king size ensuite bedrooms.

    We have hot showers, underfloor heating, electricity and all the utensils you need for whipping up and serving tasty meals.

    • Bring wellies, wet weather gear, torches and flip flops to wear out to the hot tub.

    • There is 4G mobile phone signal, but no wifi.

    • There are plug sockets!

All the details

    • We have 3 x king-size beds.

    • There’s space for 2 babies at no extra charge (babes in arms only). A travel cot and high chair can be provided.

    • We’ve got you covered with all bed linen, towels and dressing gowns.

    • The kitchen is equipped with induction hobs, toaster, kettle, oven, microwave and a large fridge-freezer.

    • Outside, we have a BBQ, firepit and pizza oven available to use.

    • Inside, there’s a wood burner in the lounge.

    • There are three ensuite bathrooms with walk-in showers, sink, flushing toilet and heated towel rails.

    • Hot water is available throughout and we have underfloor heating throughout the treehouse.

  • Luna Treehouse is situated on our family farm where we live with our 3 lovely dogs.

    The farmyard is a restricted area for guests and, depending on the season, you may hear some farming activities during your stay.

    Please be aware that shooting can be heard on-site over a few weekends between October and January.

The seclusion and tranquility of Luna Treehouse and Silva Treehouse can enjoyed by separate parties, but if you’d like to bring a crowd (of up to 12 people), they’re absolutely close enough to share.
